About Teachèmon
What is the Teachèmon?
Teachèmon is an experience created by to help foster and energize the community of students and staff at Newport High School. It began as a series of collectible trading cards featuring the amazing abilities and fun trivia of our teachers. It has since expanded to include over 60 members of our staff with new cards added all the time.
Where can I buy Teachèmon cards?
Teachèmon cards are not for sale and are for entertainment purposes only. Currently, Teachèmon cards are only available to Newport High School students and staff during pop-up distribution events scheduled by our Assistant Principal and the founder of Teachèmon, Mr. Oconnor.
Can I get digital versions of Teachèmon?
For now we are only creating physical cards. We are looking into ways to create digital versions that keep in line with the spirit and energy of the original cards.
Why isn’t my favorite teacher available as a Teachèmon card?
The teachers featured in the 1st Edition release of Teachèmon cards voluntarily participated in the creation of their cards. We were not able to get everybody in time to print the 1st Edition cards, and not all instructors felt comfortable participating and we respected their privacy. We are launching the 2nd Edition soon with many new faces on board so please look forward to collecting them all!
